Construction:

1. Mark and measure all wood as seen on the Measurements diagram attached.

2. Cut out all needed parts using either a Circular saw or Table saw.

3. Cut a 25 degree bevel along sides marked with ---- as seen on the Measurements page.

4. Cut about ½” rivets about 1” apart on all sides labeled with  as seen on the Measurements page. Use the Circular saw on a very shallow setting for this task.

5. Screw back to sides, caulking first. Make sure top angles match.

6. Attach 5” and 10” spacers to inside corners. Roosting chambers will be ¾” deep.

7. Take a partition and place it on spacers so that it is ½” from the roof. Place 20” spacers on partition, screw through the partition to the first spacers on both sides of the box. Make sure you do not block the air vents!

8. Screw the front to sides, top piece first. Don’t forget to caulk! Be sure that the top angles of the box match, if not sand until aligned.

9. Attach roof supports to the top inside of front and back pieces. Make sure the screws you use do not protrude the roosting area.

10. Caulk around all top surfaces.

11. Screw roof to sides and roof supports.

12. (Optional) cover roof with asphalt shingles.

13. Caulk over any open cracks.
